Kafanchan, Nigeria

Found in the Southern part of the Kaduna State, which is located in the middle belt of Nigeria. This old Railway Town of Kafanchan, owes much of its development to the Railway Corporation built in 1927. This line connects: Port Harcourt; Enugu; Kafanchan; Kuru; Bauchi and Maiduguri. In the Census taken in 2007, the population of Kafanchan was 83 092. Kafanchan is a commercial hub in the state and home to other tribes, but the Fantswam's, are the indigenous people of the Town.
