Stump Memorial, near Doornkop

This is the spot where the cottage stood where Jameson surrendered to the Boer forces after the Jameson Raid (previously marked by a cut off tree stump). The stump memorial is really just a burnt piece of wood with a plaque next to it. The three memorials connected to the Jameson could make a wonderful tourist experience. Little to nothing is being done on this front.
