Annabella Sandbank, Durban Port

Sandbank at the entrance to Natal Bay, Durban. Previously known as 'Lee Bank', it took its name from the barque, 'Annabella'. That ran aground on it on 26 January 1856. Subsequently the North Pier was constructed over this Sandbank!
