Dear Comrades,

We understand that a move is on foot to remove Comrade S. P. Bunting from the Executive Bureau as a result of differences of opinion between him and other members. udging from the information so far received, all our sympathies are with Comrade Bunting. We do not wish to passjudgement, however until we have a full report before us. We therefore request you to furnish us with an official statement ofthe differences which we are given to understand exist between Comrade Bunting and the E.B.

We have also written to Comrade Bunting, asking him to supply us with his version of the case. The following telegram was sent to Comrade Bunting this morning: "Dont resign branch unanimoiisly sympathetic letter following inform executive".

                                                                                                                                                    Yours fraternally,
