ANC officials and staff to visit Usindiso Ministries as part of Mandela Day Celebration, 16 July 2010

The ANC Official and staff together with the Gift of the givers will today, Friday, 16th July 2010, visit Usindiso Ministries in central Johannesburg (No 80, Corner Albert and Delvers Street) as part of the Nelson Mandela day celebration.

ANC Officials and ANC Luthuli employees will paint and distribute blankets, food parcels and other necessities to the shelter.

Usindiso Ministries is a shelter for abused, homeless women, children and teenage girls. The shelter accommodate up to hundred and twenty (120) women and their children. About fifty (50) children aged from one (1) to eight (8) are accommodated at the shelter. The shelter also accommodates teen girls who have been abused one way or the other by their families or relatives. The shelter also has a Nursery and a pre- school facility.

We call on our members, supporters and all South Africans to join us as we honour Madiba by doing good for others.
